Even though fruit is a healthy food, if it is processed into juice with added sweeteners, the juice has the potential to increase body weight and increase the risk of obesity. A better alternative is to eat whole fruit or process it into unsweetened juice. The natural sweetness of fruit is safer to support weight loss.
