5 Low Cholesterol Eggless Steamed Sponge Recipes

Material A

  • 250 ml of hot water
  • 250 grams of sugar
  • 75 grams of butter
  • 20 ml sweetened condensed chocolate

Material B

  • 120 grams of wheat flour
  • 25 grams of cornstarch
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

How to make

1. Put granulated sugar in a saucepan. Heat over medium heat until it caramelizes. No need to stir, just shake the pot.

2. After the sugar becomes caramel, pour hot water little by little while stirring evenly.

3. Add margarine to caramel. After mixed well. Turn off the fire.

4. Add the sweetened condensed milk to the caramel. Stir well. Wait a minute.

5. Heat the steamer.

6. Mix all ingredients B in one container. Stir well.

7. Add the caramel solution to dough B little by little. Stir well.

8. Pour the dough into the mold that has been smeared with margarine.

9. Steam the cake for about 30 minutes until cooked.

10. After the cake is cooked, let it cool down first, then remove it from the mold.
