5 Mekar Steamed Sponge Recipes without Soda for Coffee Friends

Ingredients

  • 250 grams of wheat flour
  • 250 grams of sugar
  • 3 tbsp full cream powdered milk
  • 2 chicken eggs
  • 1/2 tbsp SP
  • 175 ml of coconut milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla powder
  • 1 tsp double acting baking powder
  • 1 tsp liquid blackforest flavour

Coffee solution

  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon ground coffee without dregs
  • 3 sachets of vanilla instant coffee
  • enough water to dissolve

How to make

1. Mix sugar, flour, milk, eggs, SP, coconut milk, vanilla and baking powder. Beat all ingredients with mixer until white and thick with traces.

2. In another container, mix all the coffee solution ingredients.

3. Add blackforest flavoring to the flour mixture. Beat with mixer until well blended.

4. Divide the dough into two. One part of the dough is given a coffee solution.

5. Heat the steamer. Cover the steamer cover with a clean cloth.

6. Pour the sponge mixture (white and coffee) into the mold. Steam for about 15 minutes.
