7 Delicious Tempe Recipes High Protein Meat Substitute


  • 1 board of tempeh, cut into pieces
  • 1 block brown sugar
  • 5 cm galangal
  • 3 shallots
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1/2 tsp coriander
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp granulated sugar
  • enough water

How to make

  1. Grind the garlic, shallots, galangal and coriander.
  2. Soak tempeh in ground spices and enough water.

  4. Boil the tempeh until the spices are absorbed and the water is reduced.
  5. After shrinking, remove tempe and drain.
  6. Heat the oil. Fried tempeh until slightly brown. Lift and drain.
