- 1 whole chicken, cut into pieces
Spice
- 4 cloves of garlic, crushed
- 4 shallots, crushed
- 3 pieces of lime leaves
- 3 cm turmeric, crushed
- 3 cm ginger
- 1 tsp ground pepper
- 1 stick of lemon grass, crushed
- salt to taste
How to make
- Boil all the geprek spices until they boil. Make sure there’s enough water to submerge the chicken later.
- Put the cleaned chicken into the boiling spices. Arrange evenly so that the spices are crushed under the chicken.
- Cover the pot and cook until the water dries up and the chicken is perfectly cooked. Turn the chicken occasionally so that it cooks evenly.
- Fried chicken directly or can be added to the all-purpose flour dressing.
