Ingredients
- 300 grams of shrimp
- 1 tbsp tamarind water
- 1 lime
- 500 ml of coconut milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp pepper powder
- 2 pieces of lime leaves
- 3 tbsp oil for sauteing
Ground spices
- 7 grains of shallots
- 4 cloves garlic
- 3 candlenuts
- 2 tsp belacan
- 4 large red chilies
- 5 red bird’s eye chilies
How to make
1. Clean the prawns, then slit the back, coat with a little salt and lime juice. Let stand 15 minutes.
2. Heat the oil. Saute ground spices until fragrant.
3. Add the shrimp to the stir fry. Cook until prawns change color.
4. Add tamarind water, pepper, sugar and salt. Stir well.
5. Enter the coconut milk. Stir well. Cook until the oil comes out of the coconut milk.
