BUY: Decorative Bundt Pan Bonus Special Cake Recipe Idea: Bunny Rice Krispies Treats If you don’t like baking cakes or are short on time, you can still use special cake pans. I created this attention-grabbing, oversized bunny by pressing the Rice Krispies Treat mix into a well-greased mold. To make the mixture springy, I added purple jelly food coloring. (You know I like to shop there.) I also came across many interesting special baking trays on the Internet. Don’t be afraid to raid your grandparent’s or great-grandparent’s cookware collection (with permission, of course). Easy Bake Oven Chocolate Birthday Cake Recipe

Over the past few years, I’ve been seeing more and more questions about adapting large layer cake recipes to smaller 6 inch cake pans. 6 inch cakes are very popular, but most traditional cake recipes are not suitable for the smaller size.

But last year I found a simple solution when I made a 6 inch birthday cake. I no longer adapted the cake recipes to the size of the smaller cake pan. Instead, I started using cookie dough from my CUPCAKE recipes. (And most of my cupcake recipes are actually made from the larger cake variety, so the job is done!)

Nothing groundbreaking I know, but it was a total lightbulb moment as I suddenly had dozens of 6 inch cake flavors
