- Drain the tofu then destroy.
- Mix the tofu with spring onions, tomato chunks, basil leaves and ground spices. Mix well all the ingredients.
- Wrap the dough in banana leaves into several pieces.
- Steam the pepes wrapped in banana leaves for about 20 minutes until cooked.
- After the steamed pepes are cooked, bake for a while until the water content reduces and the aroma of the pepes becomes more fragrant.
- Serve pepes with warm white rice.
