Low Fat and Cholesterol Tofu Pepes Recipe

  1. Drain the tofu then destroy.
  2. Mix the tofu with spring onions, tomato chunks, basil leaves and ground spices. Mix well all the ingredients.
  3. Wrap the dough in banana leaves into several pieces.
  4. Steam the pepes wrapped in banana leaves for about 20 minutes until cooked.
  5. After the steamed pepes are cooked, bake for a while until the water content reduces and the aroma of the pepes becomes more fragrant.
  6. Serve pepes with warm white rice.
