No, you could use spaghetti if you wanted. I used egg noodles because that’s what I had on hand at the time.

Of course! Although I prefer a turkey burger to beef, my family does not and I usually find out.
Although most people like it as it is, you can always spice it up to your liking. Add mushrooms with your onions. Maybe add chili paste to make it really spicy. Add cheese too if you like.
Mix onions and ground beef together and cook together for a few minutes. Next, make the gravy mixture as directed in the pot with the meat/onions.

My family absolutely loves this dish. This is a very simple, but delicious ground beef stroganoff recipe. I hold back on the plain mushrooms because my family just aren’t fans. They don’t mind the creaminess of the mushroom sauce, but they wouldn’t eat this if it was full of mushrooms. haha.

If you are a fan of mushrooms, then add some! 🙂 I would recommend adding half a pound of freshly chopped mushrooms to the sauce before you start sauteing it.
