There are several opinions on this, it is better to read the ingredients on the package and the flavor enhancers mentioned on the package. In the recipe above, there is no flavor enhancer. Vegetable Noodles is very easy to make stir-fried noodle recipe. One of the most favorite food in many homes and the most popular food in restaurants and street food. Indo-Chinese fusion recipe, made by cooking noodles first, then stir-fried noodles with vegetables, and sauce. The process is two steps, and can be done in less than 25 minutes (prep and cooking time). Cool the cooked/leftover noodles to room temperature before refrigerating. Store the noodles in a clean – new zip lock or airtight container and refrigerate it. Noodles stay good for up to 3 days in the fridge or more if stored properly (make sure to use a clean, dry spoon every time you scoop, and put the left side right in the fridge).

To reheat – Place the container (microwave safe) covered with a lid in the microwave and heat it for 2 to 4 minutes or until the noodles are warm to eat.

When making it for a party, make the noodles ahead of time, cool to room temperature. Then transfer to party trays or containers, and cover the trays with foil lids that come with foil trays or use clear wraps, and cover the top completely without gaps. Refrigerate the noodles, it stays good for 2 to 3 days.

To reheat party trays – preheat the oven to 350 degrees and place the trays for 10 to 15 minutes or until the noodles get heated (take it out of the oven, mix it well and put it back). Or use a chafing plate – burner to reheat (recommended this method – this helps keep the food warm for all parties).

Ingredients Required – Chop all the vegetables – Thinly slice the cabbage – carrots and green capsicum, cut the spring onions – chop the white part and the green part separately into thin rounds. Other ingredients – salt, pepper powder, tomato sauce, soy sauce, green chili sauce, noodles, minced garlic and oil.

Boil 10 cups of water in a large pot, when the water starts to boil, put all the noodles (don’t break the noodles) and add 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 tablespoon of oil (this will prevent the noodles from sticking). Return the water to boil and then cook for only three minutes (Or cook AL – DENTE – it should still be hard to bite). Drain the water and put the noodles in running water. Add 1 tablespoon of oil to the noodles and stir well to prevent sticking. Set aside.

Vegetable Noodles With Homemade Maggi Masala

Take a wok / wide pan, add 2 spoons of oil and heat it on medium flame. Once hot, add the garlic and the white part of the onion spring and fry until the garlic turns slightly golden and fragrant (This gives a nice garlic smell to the noodles). Add carrots and green peppers first and stir fry for a minute only (vegetables should keep their crunch).

Continue with the cabbage and stir ONLY ONCE (cabbage cooks faster). Now add salt, pepper powder, tomato ketchup, soy sauce, green chili sauce and fry on medium high heat for a minute or less (until the sauce is combined).

Finally, add cooked noodles by hand (separate while adding to the wok). Mix and stir all sauces, vegetables and noodles thoroughly (for a while). Make sure you don’t break the noodles (Eating long string noodles is the fun part for kids).

Check the salt and pepper at this stage and add more if needed. Turn off the flame and remove the wok from the heat. Garnish with the green part of spring onions and serve.
