Obviously, this diet excludes all animal products. But this diet also uses foods that are raw and not heated above 118 degrees. A raw vegan diet consists mainly of fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, sprouted grains and legumes.
Day Vegan Diet Plan: 1,500 Calories
A raw vegan diet can definitely have benefits! A raw vegan diet can promote heart health, lower cholesterol, and help reduce the risk of stroke. This diet can also be beneficial for diabetics and help with weight loss. However, it’s important to discuss any dietary changes with your doctor before starting.
You will have to plan for it. You’ll want to plan your meals first and then make sure your pantry and fridge are stocked with all the essentials! The best way to make sure this reset is successful is to make sure you have everything you have.
You can! But not in the way we are most used to. Since a raw diet does not require anything to be heated above 118 degrees, you cannot boil rice. So, to eat rice, you need to sprout medium grain brown rice. There are many different ways to sprout rice, so find the method that works best for you!
As we said above, nothing can be heated above 118 degrees. So nothing is cooked as you are used to. Raw vegan food is eaten fresh, fermented or dehydrated at low heat.
Intensely Satisfying Vegan Recipes For Weight Loss
Nuts and seeds are an incredible source of protein, along with leafy green vegetables. Many foods contain protein! Making sure you’re getting enough protein in your diet is important, but this reset will help you figure it all out.
First of all, you need to make sure that you buy the raw versions of the ingredients, there are some things that are easily mixed. Here are a few basics for you to refer to when considering a raw food plan and purchasing ingredients:
Using a spoon, carefully remove ½ avocado from its skin. Fill the places where there are seeds with chopped tomatoes. Top with onion, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper (if using). Dig!
Cut the banana into 6 equal round pieces. Spread the almond butter on half of the slices, then spread the date paste on the other half of the slices. Sprinkle some sea salt over the almond butter. To make the sammi, put the pieces together, a piece of almond butter will be matched with a piece of palm paste. Immediately fill your mouth.
Delicious Raw Vegan Recipes (savory & Sweet)
Place the milk, chia seeds, banana, hemp seeds, date paste and vanilla extract in a jar or bowl and mix well. mix the strawberries and leave overnight. If you’re like me and get a little antsy after chia seeds are pudding-like, then set the strawberries aside and blend them into a smooth pudding the next morning. Then top with strawberries and enjoy free crawling!
Note: you can just make overnight oats, but I try to stay away from grains as much as possible here, but if you prefer them over chia pudding, plan accordingly on your shopping list (you basically need one meal). plus ½ cup of homemade milk, just 1 tablespoon of chia seeds, ½ cup of oats, and 2/4 cup of hemp seeds … everything else stays the same).
Cut the avocado and tomato into 8 equal pieces. Make sure to cut the avocado into circles lengthwise. Stack the avocado, tomato and basil leaves, alternating back and forth between them. Drizzle with vinegar and oil, if using. Sprinkle with sea salt. Eat with a knife and fork.
Chop up any leftover vegetables you’ve been saving. Mix with lettuce. Top with chili taco cream and enjoy!
The Raw Vegan Diet: Benefits, Risks And Meal Plan
Note: You can use leftover “taco meat” from dinner on Day 1, or store it or freeze it for later. I found the avocado very filling and didn’t need it.
Put the cabbage and avocado in a bowl and massage them to mix them up a bit. Add the remaining ingredients, toss and enjoy!
Fill foam sheets with ingredients, roll up like a taco or burrito, and dip in chili taco cream.
Place everything except the lettuce in a food processor and pulse until coarsely chopped and blended. Place in a bowl with the chopped lettuce and toss well to combine. Drizzle with chili taco cream, if using, and enjoy!

The idea behind this is that no food should be heated above 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees F) to limit loss of nutritional value.
I’m guessing the average person isn’t exactly thrilled with this cuisine (anyone remember the Sex and the City crew going to a raw food restaurant and the looks on their faces after tasting that kind of food)? While I consider myself open to new foods and cuisines, I’m also not keen on pulling cold wheatgrass asparagus shots.
