Recipe for Pecel Lele Santan Basil

Ingredients

  • 8 catfish, fried
  • 400 ml of coconut milk
  • a handful of basil leaves
  • 3 pieces of lime leaves
  • 5 whole bird’s eye chilies

Ground spices

  • 7 cloves of garlic
  • 10 bird’s eye chilies
  • 1 knuckle kencur
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp sugar

How to make

1. Saute ground spices until fragrant. Add lime leaves.

2. Add the fried catfish to the stir fry. Add coconut milk.

3. After the spices have absorbed, add the basil leaves and whole cayenne pepper. Lift and serve.
