Fimela.com, Jakarta Seblak has recently gained a lot of popularity. There are lots of seblak variants that are worth trying because they really taste appetizing, one of which is viral is seblak coet a la Rafael Tan. The ingredients are easy to get and the way to make it is not difficult, here is the recipe.
Material:
- 2 handfuls of rose crackers
- 2-3 cloves of garlic
- 2 segments kencur
- 10 green bird’s eye chilies
- 3 red bird’s eye chilies
- 1 stalk of green onion
- salt, sugar and broth powder to taste
- right amount of oil
- Soak the crackers for 10 minutes in clean water, drain. Peel the onions and kencur.
- Boil rose crackers until tender, drain.
- Grind chilies, kencur, garlic, salt, sugar and broth powder.
- Heat the cooking oil until it’s really hot, pour it over the spices, stir well.
- Add the crackers and chopped spring onions.
Serve a delicious seblak coet a la Rafael as a snack. Please adjust the spiciness level to your taste.
