I am a girl who loves to make fun things and make easy recipes in the kitchen. Four easy, healthy, delicious snack ideas that are easy to make – perfect for busy weekdays or fun weekend bites.

On social media, everyone always talks about the concept of “not a sad table lunch”… but “a non-sad table snack?” For me, snacks can be very boring. Usually, when my stomach grumbles at 3pm, I reach for a handful of plain raw almonds because that’s what I’ve got (when I’ve already eaten through the roasted stuff). And then I cringe that I didn’t have something a little more flavorful and that I wasted a perfectly good snack opportunity.

So today – good snacks! Whether you’re working at a desk or you’re constantly on the go, these are all very simple and delicious. Plus, they’re gluten-free, thanks to the delicious new gluten-free Vasa Crispbread Crackers These crispbread crackers are especially good as a blank canvas. They’re sturdy enough to hold a healthy amount of toppings, and they’re big enough that each of these is a sizeable snack.

Pictured above are the ingredients for all 4 variations. Obviously, if I’m snacking by myself, I’ll only make one type at a time, but how fun would it be to make them all and have a snack party? Snack hour = new happy hour??

Master List Of Baby Snacks (easy Finger Foods + Recipes)

Wasabi Peas If I were picking favorites here – this is one. Inspired by (but not actually using) wasabi peas, I made an avocado-pea mash with wasabi, sesame, ginger and a dab of garlic. Spread it on a cracker and top with more peas and sesame seeds. Avocado-pea mash will keep in the fridge for about 2 days.

Crunchy caprese is a classic combo for summer. Instead of mozzarella, I mixed ricotta with lemon zest and sea salt. It keeps in the fridge all week, with cherry tomatoes and basil for a super fancy weekday snack.

I love all of these ingredients in a taco – this time I skipped the tortilla and loaded it all up on a gluten-free Wasa Crispbread cracker.

This simple combination doesn’t require a recipe, but pairing almond butter and berries never gets old for me. Even though I’m a heavy snacker, I crave fruit all summer long. Note: Fruit is also good in place of tomatoes in the ricotta cracker above!
