Tips for Fried Potatoes Not Soft and Crispy

When frying potatoes, make sure to use a lot of oil. Try to keep the potatoes completely submerged in the cooking oil. Add the potatoes when the oil is really hot. Occasionally turn the potatoes over so they cook evenly. Immediately remove and drain the potatoes.

Store in Freezer

For potatoes that have been seasoned and haven’t had time to fry, it’s best to store them in a closed container and then put them in the freezer. This will make the potatoes last longer. But remember, when you want to re-fry these leftover potatoes, leave the potatoes at room temperature for some time so the potatoes don’t get soggy and lumpy. Cover again with flour mixture before frying.

Those are some tips for frying potatoes so they don’t get mushy and last longer. Hopefully these tips are useful and don’t hesitate to make delicious french fries like in a restaurant.
