Tips to keep fried tempeh without flour crispy and crunchy

Before the tempe is fried, you can add baking powder to the seasoning mixture. Baking powder is useful for making tempe drier, crisper and crunchier.

Fried Tempeh Until Dry

After the tempeh has been marinated with the spices, it can then be fried in hot oil over medium heat. Fry with submerged oil or a lot of oil. After one side of the dry tempe is browned, turn the tempe over and fry again until both sides are dry. Remove the tempeh, drain and let it cool then store it in an airtight jar to keep it longer.
