Yoshinoya Chicken Teriyaki recipe

You don’t have to go to this Japanese restaurant if you want to eat chicken teriyaki, especially if it’s far away and it’s expensive to buy through the app. Better to make your own because it turns out how to make it easy. Here comes the recipe.

Material:

  • 300 grams of chicken thigh fillet skin
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper

Teriyaki Sauce:

  • 1 tbsp grated garlic
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger
  • 4 tbsp water
  • 60 ml of soy sauce
  • 5 tbsp palm sugar
  • 120 ml of water/broth
  • 35 ml mirin/sake (can be replaced with packaged apple juice)

Complementary:

  • Green beans, young corn, carrots to taste
  • salt, sugar and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch (for teriyaki sauce)
  • enough water (for teriyaki sauce)
